The Intuit Small Business Software Engineering team is looking for a highly talented Architect to join the Grow Your Business Team to develop new offerings for our customers that help them grow by selling more and attracting new customers.

The responsibilities include:
- Owns the architecture for the client and server components of the application
- Reviews the design and implementation of product features
- Ensures high quality of the deliverables
- Provides technical leadership to engineers
- Works closely with Product Management and other Product Leaders to fully understand and document the requirements
- Ensures that the designs meet the tactical and strategic needs of the organization
- Presents design ideas and decisions throughout the Small Business Division
- Works closely with offshore teams. occasional travel may be required.
Qualifications: Required Skills:
- BSCS or equivalent with at least 10 years of software development experience. At least 3 years as an architect
- At least 5 years of Java experience
- Strong leadership experience in leading a team to deliver high quality products
- Strong problem solving skills with a history of driving the development of major software components
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong influence management skills.
- Good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering software

Desired Skills:
- Experience with CRM products
- Agile development process experience
- Experience with Java, J2EE, WPF, Flex, JSP, Javascript, and Ajax
